Horseback riding, and horse carriage trips

Vingelen is perfect for horse lovers – the mountains are totally accessible by horseback. Horses are welcome at many of our hire cottages and mountain farms.

Åkergampen is situated on the farm “Åkeren”, near the centre of Vingelen. They offer trips with horse and carriage during summer, and sleighrides during winter.

At Gransletten you can learn dressage or try your hand at track-riding. You can improve your riding skills one of their noble horses, or you can have coaching using your own horse.
